Is this our first canon instance of them listening on the police scanner?

I believe John used it in Dead Man's Blood. While Sam and Dean slept on beds that couldn't contain their length. I loved how John slapped their ankles to wake the boys up. *sigh*

I can't think of any Dean/Sampala fics right now, but ze_pink_lady once wrote Sam-Impala bodyswap for me. :|
