The time, it is stamped.

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least ~~a hundred~~ however many words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

For reference, stuff I've written.

Don't feel obligated to request something just to feed my ego, it doesn't need the help (the analogy that just popped into my head is that my ego is like one of those squirrels in parks who are used to handouts of human food so they get really aggressive and beat you up and steal your lunch money/your lunch). But I'm working on multiple larger projects and would love to have some prompts I can whip out when I need a (productive) break, so if you want to take advantage of my procrastination, fire away!

omg- WAIT!!! What happened???? Im so confused! "You're dad's going to come back.." So is Sam being possessed or did he say yes to Lucifer already and did Dean just say yes to Micheal or soemthing?????? Please explain, I feel like im missing a great deal. Not your fault by the way- im sorta tired and stuff so im a little slow. So yes- explanation please if it wouldn't be too much to ask?

But also- AMAZING!!!!!! Aw- i felt so sad for Dean- having to wait two years for his (maybe?) Sammy to return and actually return his affections. *lip wibble*

But I already read the first story 8B The whole- Sam sorta leaves for Stanford but ends up not cuza Dean and then he leaves cuz he's "got work to do" and how he doesn't think he has a soul yadda yadda of awesome etc. Yellow-eyed demon has not lied to him yet so he trusts him more than John... Two years is a whole lot of time and idk if you keep up with the show or not so (spoiler alert for season 5ish- probably 4 if i remember correctly) The ultimate goal of the YED was to release Lucifer from the cage and deliver to him his perfect vessel- aka SAM and im pretty sure he was also routing for the apocalypse or whatever.(end spoiler alert) So the Lucifer/Micheal thing is plausible- Sam might even be more suseptable to the idea seeing as this is a whole other uni where he trusts the YED more than his own family pretty much.... so yeah.

I'm still confused though... So now he's embraced his non-soulness or something? Or the "demon" that's inside? why has he spontaniously begun doing things he never used to- like the smiling and the "slower" not "harder" and why is Sam so adament that Dean say yes? Does it have to do with that binding link thing in the first story (does he mean Meg? when she possessed him or something?)? Or maybe it's his way of binding himself to Dean for forever... agh. And why did he say "your dad" instead of "our dad" because still, even though he's got some demon in him, John is still his dad... *sigh*

All right, here goes! Though I should note first, I'm definitely a fan of reader interpretation and don't think my intentions as the writer are the be-all end-all. But since you asked:

I think it would be perfectly valid to assume that Sam is already possessed by Lucifer or the YED or is soulless here, but to me, this is 100% Sam. He's already explicitly rejected John as his father by the end of "Dream Deferred", and has gone from being an extremely damaged, unhappy hunter's kid to feeling like he's found his place in the world following the YED's plan. Accordingly, I don't think this happier, embracing-his-evil-destiny Sam would feel the same need for self-destruction that he did when he was younger and still 'trapped', hence the less fraught behavior around Dean. I don't think this Sam - who gave up his dreams mostly so he wouldn't have to live without Dean - would ever let Michael lay a finger on Dean. So I think this Sam would be quite eager to secure Dean's allegiance to Sam, and to keep Dean for himself.

Aaaaaaaaand now back to your regularly scheduled programming. :D

Thank you!!!! Im all up for reader interpretation too, but sometimes, I need to know what the author was thinking, and what's terrible is that some author's just say- "no- its how YOU percieve it" and leave it at that- which kinda sucks- so THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH *cuddles*

Well, I can't say for sure because I didn't write this story, but in my opinion:
The binding link was definitely about Meg's possession of Sam.
The change in how Sam wants sex is I guess because he accepts himself (as evil?) and gets out his rougher urges elsewhere. He wanted Dean to say 'yes' probably to bind himself to Sam in some way. And he said 'your father' because he doesn't see John as his father anymore, or he believes John was never his real father in the first place. But I could be wrong and the while Lucifer/Michael thing could be coming into play.
