Oh god. This hurt. So much. My heart was beating fast and stayed in my throat the whole time. The images are so visceral and heartbreaking.
It also really brought home exactly how badly Sam could be suffering. It gave truth (if that makes sense) to what it means to be Sam. Amazing. Sammy's heart, Sammy's mind...... oh boy...
