Any DSLR users out there? As much as I love my dad's old 70's Nikon, think I'm finally gonna join the modern world. Not looking to go super-high end 'cause there's just no reason to, I'm not a professional. Contenders are ranging from Nikon D40 - Canon Rebel T1i.
What do you have? Do you love it? Thoughts on starter lenses?
I wanted to get a Nikon but I'm seeing some really good deals on refurbished current-generation Canons, so my loyalties may be swayed.
