If you haven't already, go check out the love meme!

As preface to the pictures under the cut, I would like to note the following:

1) It is December.
2) I live in urban Los Angeles.
3) This is from the front of my house.

I haven't been there yet, so I don't have any feelings on it aside from "big city" and "my girlfriend lives there", heh. Both of these things make me more rather than less inclined for me to like it, though, so...!

I'll be visiting for two weeks, from Jan 19th to Feb 2nd. My birthday is on the 22nd, and we're having a Rent-a-Gundam themed party (RAG is this huge Gundam 00 AU universe that I helped to write, and incidentally how I met the girlfriend) but if you'd rather not go to the party I'd still like to see you at some point while I'm visiting. It's been soooooo long!

She lives in Culver City, iirc? No idea where that is in relation to you, or what your work hours are like (crazy, based on your entries, hahaha) so, uh, lemme know what works for you? I'm going to try out their mass transit while I'm out there anyway, so even if it's during the day on a weekday that'll be fine.

Oh man. When you are in Culver City you should totally go to Father's Office. <3<3<3 Um. Unless you're a vegetarian who hates beer, which is valid, but would make FO not so fun.
Let me reassure you that the mass transit isn't NEARLY as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I survived on it for six months!

I am not a vegetarian but I don't like beer, but most of the people I know in LA like beer AND meat so I don't think I'll have any problem talking one of them into taking me, heh heh. Thanks for the rec! (Though it sounds more like a kinky S&M club than a place to eat, tbh?)

Mass transit everywhere is at least somewhat sucky, unless you happen to live in like... Russia, or something, in which case the transit runs all hours and there's a train on time every like, five minutes. Commies were good for that sort of thing, I think-- having tons of extra money lying around to spend on infrastructure, that is. Anyway: I have no fears that it will be worse than Atlanta's goofy and imperfect mass transit system.
